Type of Pattern: determine what type of pattern the cases represent (e.g., series, spree, hotspot and justify WHY)

It contains the 12 cases that resulted from initial pattern identification. However, not all of these cases are in the final pattern. A large part of this assignment will be determining why certain cases are in the pattern and others are not and documenting those in your write up. For the assignment write up responses to the below questions.
1. Type of Pattern: determine what type of pattern the cases represent (e.g., series, spree, hotspot and justify WHY)

2. Principal Case: list the case number of the principal case(s). State WHY you think this is the principal case or cases.

3. Three Key Characteristics of the Pattern: list the three MOST important key characteristics (i.e., name three variables from the database) that you used to match the principal case to other cases and WHY you selected each one.
4. Other Cases in the Pattern: list each one of the case numbers of the other cases in the pattern and justify WHY each one is included in the pattern (e.g., similar MO, similar location, etc.). That is, after each case number include at least one sentence discussing why that case was included in the pattern (hint: key characteristics).
5. Cases NOT in the Pattern: list each one of the case numbers of the cases you did NOT include in the pattern and justify WHY. That is, after each case number include at least one sentence discussing why that case was NOT included.
6. Pattern Summary: write a short paragraph that summarizes the overall nature and activity of the pattern. This summary should include an overview of all common characteristics of the pattern including the key characteristics that were used to link the cases.
