Across healthcare, organizations are increasingly focused on improving patient safety. Yet in the prehospital setting, there is a paucity of information about the safety of care, in spite of the well- known and documented idiosyncrasies. One component of prehospital care that is particularly understudied, yet highly influential to patient safety is medication administration.

(c) The BODY of the essay should contain all the requirements as outlined in the specific task and topic. The course learning outcomes could be used as a guide to formulate the structure (themes) of the body. Real world examples (cases) could be used to further aid in your discussion of the topic.

reducing errors during the pharmacotherapy process within the pre-hospital setting.
