The main message for my paper is to make the audience aware of the negative effects social media has on relationships. How excessive time spent on social media can lead to loneliness, anxiety, and depression. I would also like to shed light on the effects social media can have on one’s self esteem. Many allow social media to change who they are, trying so hard to fit the image they portray on social media vs reality. Social media has become a distraction to many. We can no longer sit in stillness and reflect upon ourselves because we’re so worried about what everyone else is up to.
