Write about an important classical or jazz composer( Louis Armstrong). Explain and explore the composers life and work. What contributions in terms in terms of style/ technique, approach, form, genre, or subject matter did the composer/musician make to the history of music? In your own words, describe two of his musical compositions.( a jazz album or an entire symphony, sonata, concerto, mass, string, quartet or opera). When were the compositions made? Finally, contextualize the composer in relation to his movement and/or place and time. In other words, is the composer associated with a classical period (baroque, classical, romantic, or modern) or a jazz era (like ragtime, big band, swing etc). Explain the period and show the composer was shaped by his culture/ time. I will attach files with information.
