Intersectionality and the Protection of Minors: Revisiting the Gillick Competent Child

The paper is to be written in UK/Commonwealth Caribbean English using the OSCOLA referencing format as the academic style.
The font is Times New Roman and the font size 12. There should be 1.5 Spacing.
The purpose of the paper is to see if applying Gillick competency to children in the Commonwealth Caribbean who are adversely disadvantaged by intersectionality (through race, gender, religion, socio-economic circumstances) would assist in preventing sexual abuse, unplanned pregnancies, abortions (to get or to avoid), STIs and STDs.
Explanation on what intersectionality theory is, its history and how it can point out and address these issues faced by minors should be included.
A short case study/brief on the Gillick case would be useful. The reason why the Courts haven’t followed it and how it could be interpreted to be useful.
Statistics on the rate of abuse, unplanned pregnancies, STIs and STDS in the Commonwealth Caribbean to highlight the issues to be addressed is noted.
I am open to a different direction with the paper if the writer becomes stuck as we are allowed to choose any area to write the paper on.
