In your own words, explain the differences between nonexclusion time out and exclusion time out.

Chapter 14 starts by talking about punishment as a benefit from experience. Explain in your own words what that means and give an example form your own life. Although it can be seen as benefit at times, there are also some of the potential side effects of using punishment as a treatment intervention. Please discuss at least 3 of those side effects. Lastly, describe at least 3 of the ethical concerns revolving around the use of punishment as an intervention.

Johnny is a bright student who is the class clown. He often blurts out answers before getting permission to respond. In addition, he makes inappropriate jokes to get other students to laugh. The administrator has authorized the use of time out to deal with the behavior.

In your own words, explain the differences between nonexclusion time out and exclusion time out.
Create two plans for dealing with his behavior with one plan explaining how you would implement nonexclusion time out and the other plan using exclusion time out to decrease his talk outs and jokes in class.
