During 4th Quarter, students will be expected to research a culturally relevant issue and take up a position in regards to that issue. At the end of the unit, students will be expected to produce a 4 page essay arguing in favor of their stance on that topic.
Essays should meet the following requirements:
4 pages typed, double spaced, Times New Roman, 12pt font
MLA style formatting
1 margins
double spaced throughout
Heading is left aligned and includes the authors name (first and last), teachers name, class, and due date
Title is centered after the heading
In-text citations are parenthetical and include authors last name and page number
All sources are cited on a Works Cited page
