Gender Roles in Different Cultures

Thesis: Gender is one of the greatest factors of one’s identity in how we identify with ourselves and each other. Therefore, it also has a great influence on culture through gender roles and expression.
Our class textbook is Intercultural Communication: Identities in a Global Community 9th edition by Fred E. Jandt (Reference Chapter 9)

Instructions for the paper:

Write a minimum 5page paper (typed double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 point font)
In the introductory paragraph provide a thesis for your paper. The introduction should also have a brief summary of what you are going to expand on in the paper. Introduce the intercultural communication concepts you will develop in the body of your paper. Add the relevance of the paper- why should the reader care about the topic as much as you do?
The body should have at least three main points to support your thesis. Develop your paper using at least five peer reviewed articles and research, and in text citations to support your points. APA or MLA format.
In your concluding paragraph, summarize your insights regarding the intercultural concepts you have learned about through the paper- summary of main points, how they support the thesis and what your learning has been.
