In the past months, the news has reported on various food associated illness. You are to research information about these outbreaks and post what you find along with your thoughts to the Discussion Board. Students can access the CDC’s web page on outbreaks (Links to an external site.) to learn about recent outbreaks of food-borne illness. You may also use other sources to obtain information to share with your fellow classmates. Students should determine whether the source of the outbreak was identified. Did the outbreak result in any fatalities? What steps could have been taken to prevent the outbreak?
