Interview Final Paper
The purpose of this assignment is for you to integrate and apply the information that you learned in this course by interviewing an individual who utilizes different perspectives in their work with individuals, groups, and/or family systems. Grading will primarily be based on your ability to integrate knowledge from the course with your interview (e.g., information you learned, your reaction, ties to your career goals/direction).

Upon completion of the interview, you will write a paper summarizing the interview and discussing how it converges (or conflicts) with information you learned in this course.

Describe the professionals approach to theory and practice, including the purpose of that theory and reasons for selecting that theory.
Therapeutic Tools and Techniques
Summarize their responses to Question 4.
Describe the therapeutic tools/techniques the professional finds useful in practice with their clients, including the purpose of those tolls/techniques and reasons for using them.
Critical Evaluation
Provide an critical analysis of how the professionals approach fits with what youve learned in this course.
Describe how the theories, techniques, and tools that they use are similar to and different from those we learned in this course.
For example, if they describe themselves as a Cognitive Behavior Therapist, does their description of CBT theory match what you learned about in this course or is it different? Do they use techniques that you learned about (e.g., exposure if they’re a CBT therapist) or do they use different tools? If their techniques/tools are different from what is typically used by clinicians who share their same theoretical approach, critically evaluate their reasons for using them.
