Some questions to consider: Is it Constitutionally permissible? Are such policies (that take an applicants race into account) ethical? Are they the only way to achieve diversity on campus? (Which raises another related question: is diversity a necessary goal for the college environment?) Who are the beneficiaries of affirmative action? And who are its invisible victims?
