Each student will choose either 1) a specific approach or area of specialization within psychology, or 2) an important person (researcher, theorist, etc.) related to the concepts and information that we have gone over in class You will take a closer look by researching this topic or person. The purpose of this paper is to provide the opportunity to read, think, and write about a topic or person that you may be especially interested in and provide a closer look at the topic or the persons work in order to amplify what we are able to do in class.
Topics/important people may be chosen from class lectures, textbook chapters, or from the name and subject indices at the end of the textbook. There is also a plethora of references in the References section of the textbook to guide you in your search for sources.
